The BookCover Agent Portal is a retention management system built for Medicare Advantage carrier retention teams. It combines member-level risk intelligence with automated outreach campaign management — enabling agents to proactively engage at-risk members before they switch plans during AEP.
The system does the analytical heavy lifting. Agents spend 30–60 minutes per day reviewing dashboards, approving system-generated campaigns, and following up with members flagged for outreach — not building targeting lists or writing emails from scratch.
This demo shows the agent-facing portal for a fictional carrier, Your Health Plan, managing a book of 12,450 Medicare Advantage members. The agent is Sandra K. All data is representative — member scores, campaign batches, and report figures reflect realistic operating conditions.
Retention isn’t a campaign.
It’s a relationship.
Members don’t shop for insurance because they want to. They shop because they don’t feel seen. BookCover gives retention teams the operational layer to fix that — quietly, continuously, and with claims data behind every touchpoint.
Why members leave
Disenrollment correlates more strongly with the absence of meaningful contact than with price, benefits, or even bad service experiences. Most members hear from their carrier twice a year — at enrollment and at renewal. The 50 weeks in between are silent.
By the time a member is comparing plans online, the relationship has already failed.
What real retention requires
Three things high-retention industries practice daily, and insurance usually doesn’t:
The reason these are missing in insurance isn’t carrier indifference — it’s operational. Twelve thousand members and twenty agents will always lose to scale. BookCover changes the math.
What BookCover does
How the risk score works
The score combines three signal categories that update in real time:
The result is a score agents can read like a chart: which factors moved, by how much, and what to do about each. Risk isn’t a number to hide behind. It’s a map to act on.
From insight to action
Two analytics tools turn the score into specific work agents can do today:
Both feed directly into pre-drafted campaigns, personalized to the member’s actual situation.
What this looks like to the member
Members don’t shop because they want to. They shop because they feel forgotten.
BookCover makes sure they aren’t.
